My story is different but equally “successful”. After 2 years working for a nasty attorney who screamed at me all the time. I’d had enough. One day in December, I stopped her mid-scream by telling her I quit. She said I was fired, I didn’t care either way and walked out the door at 10 am on a Tuesday. I was unemployed for a few months but landed at the Organization I presently lead. I have been there 43 years and love my job! I never looked back.
And in fond memory of your Metamorphosis I am planting Milkweed seeds and growing Zinnias to attract; feed and "house" the Monarchs that will feed from my Zinnias; lay eggs on the Milkweed and miraculously morph into fascinating caterpillars who will "bundle up" in their cocoons and eventually emerge as arguably one of the most beautiful flying insects - the Monarch!
